10/09/21 - Hiving off SPH's media business: Highlights & AnalysisOn Prime Time, host Rachel Kelly and Finance Presenter JP Ong spoke to David Gerald, Founder, President and CEO of Securities Investors Association for an analysis of SPH's plan to hive off its media business.
In a virtual extraordinary general meeting held today, 97.55% of shareholders voted in favor of the transfer of SPH's media business to the CLG for a nominal sum of $1.
They also gave the green light to a special resolution to convert each management share held by a management shareholder into one ordinary share, and the adoption of a new Constitution.

10/09/21 - New P1 registration rules from 2022: What are the key changes?Children of alumni will have only one phase reserved for them in the Primary 1 registration exercise instead of separate phases for those who have joined alumni associations and those who have not.
The Ministry of Education said the change will take effect next year, said which announced this along with other changes, such as an increase in the number of places in phase 2C.
