03/10/24 - What's Trending: A look into Nintendo's new museum
Nintendo's first museum in Japan offers a nostalgic trip back in video game time, set in the company's former factory complex in Uji. The museum, spread across three main buildings, features rare consoles, prototypes, interactive games, experiences, and a themed burger restaurant. Visitors can access insights into Nintendo mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto, known as the father of Super Mario, and its main attraction is the "Discover" area, featuring displays of almost every product ever released by the company. Also, a junk dealer, Luigi Lo Rosso, discovered an asymmetrical painting of a woman in the basement of an Italian villa in 1962. The painting, believed to be a distorted image of French photographer and poet Dora Maar, is believed to be the work of Pablo Picasso.

02/10/24 - What's Trending: Did fans beat the bots for Coldplay tickets in India?
Coldplay concert tickets in India are being sold for obscene amounts on reselling platforms after being sold out on BookMyShow, the official ticketing platform. Many alleged that sales were rigged, with resellers selling tickets for five times the price before they were released on the official site. Also, a viral video by Denaesha Gonzalez, a mother to a 2-year-old, has become a real-life movement aimed at mothers who choose to pay it forward. The video shows people going through baby aisles at large department stores and tucking cash, notes of encouragement, or gift cards into diaper boxes, beneath cans of baby formula and other children's products. The trend began in early September and has become a heartfelt way for people to show their support to mothers who truly need it.
