Industry Insights: Circularity efforts in Singapore's fashion industry
Sustainability is a crucial area of focus in the fashion industry. The increasing awareness of the negative impacts of fast fashion on the environment and society has led to the need for sustainable practices.
The Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) strongly promotes circularity in fashion and has recently launched an initiative to drive home the importance of embracing circularity and the perpetual cycles of regeneration, reuse, and resource optimisation in production. The SFC is the official association for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore.

In the past decade, sustainability has come into sharp focus for the fashion industry. Here in Singapore, the topic has come into much sharper focus over the last few years.
As the new CEO of the Singapore Fashion Council, Zhang Ting-Ting is developing a refreshed vision for the Singapore fashion industry to be a vibrant Asian hub for responsible fashion.
