Viewpoint: Caught a cold? See a pharmacist first
Medical certificates (MC) as proof of illness - are they still relevant in an era when hybrid work is commonplace? E-pharmacists Winthrop Wong and Geraldine Lim of Glovida-RX opine that employers should trust their employees when they say they are unwell instead of demanding proof, and that pharmacists can play a bigger role to alleviate the burden of primary healthcare services and caregivers through teleconsultation and doorstop delivery of medication.
