Bigger Picture: Singapore's IPO market; will SPAC optimism remain in 2024?
Tay Hwee Ling, Disruptive Events Advisory Leader, Deloitte Southeast Asia and Singapore, reviews IPO capital markets in Southeast Asia in 2023. She discusses the strongest performers; cumulative amounts raised in comparison to previous years; industries that drew the most attention; and the rise of listings on secondary boards. She also speaks about the performance of Singapore's IPO market, and the outlook for 2024, including whether SPAC optimism will remain and SGX delistings will continue to slow.
