This week, Singtel was presented with a takeover bid by Thailand's Gulf Energy for Intouch, which controls Thailand's largest mobile operator, AIS. Singtel is the biggest shareholder of Intouch with a 21 percent stake, while also holding about 23 percent of AIS. What is the likelihood of this bid being accepted?
