Official figures show over $45 million was donated to the arts in 2022, a 43 per cent increase from 2021 but more still can be done. Family Office for Art's Ning Chong, who is an art consultant believes philanthropists should open their purses not just for infrastructure projects but also the "building of software" which is lacking in the art industry.
