Market View: The Strong Gains in Indian Stocks This Year
Indian stocks are among the best performers in the world, with the Nifty Index up more than 30% since the start of the year. It's a far cry from 6 months ago, when the Delta variant of COVID-19 threatened the life and livelihoods of more than a billion Indians. Kristy Fong, Senior Investment Director for Asian Equities at abrdn, spoke about the recent strength in both Indian equity markets and the IPO pipeline for the subcontinent's tech sector.
