In The Spotlight: Celebrating 40 years of transforming lives
Recently - Lions Home for the Elders celebrated its 40th anniversary.
The Voluntary Welfare Organisation started off 40 years ago on the void deck of a HDB estate - to now offer a number of support services from Bishan and Bedok.
Ken Hickson, journaled this evolution in a 40th anniversary commemorative book - celebrating 40 years of transforming lives here in Singapore.

Eco Money: How far does carbon capture go in combating climate change?
A report out earlier this year commissioned by Global Witness and Friends of the Earth Scotland commissioned stated that Carbon capture and storage cannot be relied on to deliver global 2030 emissions reductions, whilst the majority of CCS that exists is being used to extract more oil. That said - an article out in Forbes earlier this month stated that Venture investments into carbon capture technologies was up 4x in 2020 (40 deals) from the 10 deals just back in 2017.
