In May 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said that helping SMEs scale up is one of Singapore’s three drivers of economic growth. Unfortunately, SMEs in Singapore face various challenges in the business landscape, which becomes even more difficult in the face of global competition.
