Some recent REIT mergers may have come short of creating value, as pointed out by the Business Times. Gabriel Yap, Chairman of GCP Global, joined us on Prime Time to talk about why that may have been the case, whether REITs can blame it all on the COVID-19 pandemic, and how one might be able to better assess whether or not a REIT merger proposal will actually create value for existing or potential investors.
