Over the past week, China’s third plenum has been closely watched for hints on its top leadership's thinking and policy directions for the coming years, as China continues to battle a troubled domestic and external landscape.
Following the closed-door meeting, Beijing released a lengthy document outlining sweeping reforms ranging from governance to the economy and social welfare over the next five years.
