Singapore-Malaysia ties: Sincerity and creativity important to resolving longstanding issues
Singapore and Malaysia look set to deepen ties. Earlier this week, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, made his first overseas trip since he was sworn in as prime minister in May. PM Wong and his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim held a joint press briefing, reaffirming the warm and multifaceted relationship between Singapore and Malaysia, while signalling a commitment to deepen their long-standing economic, cultural, educational, and people-to-people linkages.
