Culture Club: Exploring the rise of ‘quiet hiring’ in the post-pandemic workforce
Quiet hiring, where employers make existing employees do tasks outside their regular job scope, is increasing in Singapore. This removes the need to go through the long process of bringing in new talent for that task. However, employers must not exploit the workers who take this initiative and recognize the merits of their hard work.
