A new property sentiment study shows Singaporeans are being cautious about buying a home.
More than 50% of the 1000 people polled said they are re-evaluating plans and may defer their purchase till property prices stabilise and inflation drops.

New private home launches to drive market pick-up over 2022
In the wake of new cooling measures and the regular year-end slump, new private property sales here plunged 58% in Dec 2021 compared to Nov that same year. Private home prices grew at a slower pace, after December’s cooling measures, even as they rose for an 8th consecutive quarter to hit a historical high.
