In the Spotlight: CDC Voucher Scheme 2023 bringing more choices and convenience for residents, helping businesses
As announced at Budget 2023, the Government will hand out a one-time ‘cost-of-living special payment’ and another S$300 in CDC vouchers to allay inflation concerns. The scheme has also be expanded recently and the vouchers can now be used at supermarkets as well.
Denise Phua, Mayor of Central Singapore District shares more on this scheme and the spending rate of these CDC Vouchers since its inception.

CDC launches programme to support households, heartland merchants and hawkers
The Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers Scheme was launched to help up to 400,000 lower-income Singaporean households with daily expenses while supporting local merchants and hawkers. Ms Denise Phua, Mayor of Central Singapore District shares more about this scheme and how it goes around in helping not just lower-income households but also heartland businesses and hawkers.
