Wealth for Good: Improving gender data through social investing
Gaps in gender data make it difficult to monitor and measure progress for women and girls. To this end, members of Asia’s leading social investment network AVPN, through its Asia Gender Network, came together to spearhead and fund a research report on the state of gender inclusion in Asia Pacific focusing on regulatory and systemic barriers hindering women's employment and education in APAC. Deborah Foo, Senior Manager, Gender Platform at AVPN talks about the gender data gap and the network's role in bridging the gap.
