Why It Matters: Malaysia’s budget, upcoming GE and its impact on Singapore
Malaysia’s Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz recently revealed the national budget for 2023, the second-largest ever budget in the country’s history. The country is heading into their general elections after Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the parliament has been dissolved, paving the way for national elections to be held before the end of the year.
