Train service disruption in Singapore
Train services on three MRT lines were disrupted by a power fault on 14th October evening during peak-hour traffic. The power fault affected over 30 stations along North-South line, East-West line and Circle line. SMRT has promised a full investigation - but based preliminary findings, there was a breakdown of insulation of a power cable between Tuas Link and Tuas West Road stations.
