Mind Your Business: Tech-nically Speaking: How can we close the gender pay gap in STEM?
Is there a gender pay gap in STEM careers? The answer is a resounding yes.
Data from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) shows that, on average, women earn about 20 percent less than men in STEM occupations worldwide.
A young couple is dedicated to closing this gap. By offering high-quality education, mentorship, and support from industry leaders at Google and Microsoft, their academy strives to empower more women to enter and excel in the tech industry.
We find out how they aim to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment to ensure women have the skills and opportunities to succeed in high-paying STEM careers.
Here's the conversation with Kong Yu Ning, Co-founder, Heicoders Academy & Beh Min Yan, Co-founder, Heicoders Academy.
