Mind Your Business: What lies ahead for Singapore's core CBD offices?
Charlie Munger, long-time investment partner of Warren Buffett and vice chair of Berkshire Hathaway, has recently warned of a brewing storm in the US commercial property market, with American banks “full of” what he said were “bad loans” as property prices fall.
Analysts say Hong Kong’s office rents and rate-able values are expected to fall amid high vacancies, new supply, uncertainties around the global economy and corporate downsizing.
Against that backdrop, how is Singapore’s commercial real estate doing?
