Bern's Bites: Alchemy FoodTech
We speak to the co-founder of Alchemy Foodtech, a local food-tech start-up company, CEO and Co-founder, Alan Phua. Alchemy Foodtech has launched Alchemy Fibre, a slow-digestible carbohydrate high in dietary fibre and prebiotics. When added to a carbohydrate, it lowers glucose release levels, without changing taste or texture. Alchemy Fibre can be incorporated into staples such as rice, bread, noodles and other dough-based food products. They have recently celebrated their collaboration with Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice, which is using Alchemy Fibre in some of their outlets. Find out more in this podcast.
