R.I.C.H: Success — A result of luck, hard work, or both?
For Singaporeans who grew up in this country, we pretty much know the ‘formula’ to succeeding in life: acing the system through good grades and then finding a decent job. This is, however, not how life has been for Workato’s CEO, Vijay Tella.
The realities of growing up in India during the 50s and 60s shaped his nuanced outlook on how societal factors need to work hand-in-hand with a certain degree of luck for one to have a ‘decent’ life.
Vijay has led a few start-ups to success, and he prides this streak of excellence to the workplace culture that he brings to these companies.
