Mind Your Business: What does it take to successfully move from the public to private sector?
If you have spent most of your career within either the private or public sector, the prospect of moving between sectors and adapting to a different culture and environment may be a daunting one.
For example, are your skills transferable?
And for public sector workers, especially those with little or no private sector experience, can face significant challenges in convincing employers that their skills and experience are transferable to a more commercial environment.
