Why It Matters: Helping more female leaders claim their rightful seats in the boardroom
Women account for almost half the working population, yet this is the stark opposite of the actual representation in boardrooms of major companies worldwide. Singapore is no exception, despite positive policies and changing attitudes, women's advancement in corporate leadership lags behind other developed markets.
As of June 2023, women held only 22.7 percent of board seats in top 100 listed companies in Singapore.
