Morning Shot: Was the G20 Summit a global rebranding exercise for Modi's India?
Leaders of major economies of the world gathered in India over the weekend for the G20 Summit, save for the absence of China and Russia’s Presidents. Among some of the key issues discussed - African Union's entry in G20, Russia's war in Ukraine, US-China rivalry, as well as climate change.
Associate Professor Iqbal Singh Sevea, Director, Institute of South Asian Studies breaks down the key highlights and shares his take on whether the summit acted as a global rebrand for India under the nation's year-long presidency of the G20.
