Morning Shot: Thailand election - will the military elite let the opposition take power?
Harrison Cheng, Director for South-East Asia and ASEAN risk advisory at Control Risks shares his insights on the cloud of uncertainty that looms in Thailand's political space, even as opposition party Move Forward celebrates its historic win, along with its ally, the Pheu Thai party. The two winning parties face an uphill battle in the next few weeks or months working to overcome the built-in advantage for a military-backed bloc to form Thailand’s new government.
