Market View: Recent Headwinds Hitting Singapore and Asian Markets
Despite seeing vaccination rates surpass 80% and hopes high with regards to an economic recovery and reopening, The Straits Times Index has seen shakier sessions that saw it fall below that 3100 level. Vincent Mortier, Amundi's Deputy Group CIO and Supervisor of Asia ex-Japan, thinks that as long as other economies and key trading partners remain closed, than Singapore's economic recovery will always be constrained. He also spoke on recent issues hitting Chinese markets and Amundi's strategy on Prime Time.
