The 1Q GDP print for the Philippines was worse than expected, as the economy contracted by 4.2%. Emilio "Jun" Neri, BPI's Lead Economist, joined us on Across the ASEAN to talk about why the economy worsened by a larger degree, what this means for the year's outlook, and what remains for both fiscal and monetary authorities to support  the country's economy.
