Why It Matters: SMEs unable to secure adequate business funding due to stringent application criteria and arduous processes

In The Spotlight: Why open banking has an image problem
According to a recent study, more than half of respondents said they’d never heard of open banking, in spite of the large percentage of people using at least one app to manage their banking and finance, which utilise open banking protocols.
Cloud banking platform, Mambu, conducted the global survey into attitudes around open banking - Mambu’s Managing Director APAC, Myles Bertrand says the study highlights the fact that even in countries where open banking has been around for years, consumers are still scared of it and don’t really understand what it is.
