Worldwide, osteoporosis causes more than 8.9 million fractures annually, resulting in an osteoporotic fracture every 3 seconds. It can affect both men and women of all age and race. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men over the age of 50 will experience an osteoporotic fracture. Did you know that by eating a rainbow of fruits and vegetables can help protect against diseases and promote longevity? A research in 2017, estimated approximately 7.8 million premature deaths worldwide could be potentially prevented every year if people ate 800g of fruit and vegetables a day. A high intake of fruit and vegetables is one of the cornerstones of a healthy diet and has been recommended to the general public to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer. However, the question of what is an optimal intake of fruit and vegetables remains unclear. How much fruit and vegetables should we be eating? The Singapore health promotion board recommends 2 serves of fruit and 2 serves of vegetables daily.

According to World Health Organisation (WHO), Anaemia is a serious global public health problem that particularly affects young children and pregnant women. WHO estimates that 42% of children less than 5 years of age and 40% of pregnant women worldwide are anaemic.
