The 5 Design Education Review Committee's Recommendations to Shape the Education and Manpower Landscape
The Design Education Review Committee (DERC) was appointed by the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) in August to look into incorporating design-led creative thinking into the education landscape in all Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs).

Now, it’s released a report with five key recommendations aimed at developing design talent with transdisciplinary skill-sets and a workforce with design sensibilities.

Following the recommendations will be programmes to guide businesses and entrepreneurs – from start-ups to large companies – in building a pipeline of design-trained, future-ready talent who can drive innovation.
